Tātou - Manatū Hauora's Digital Engagement Platform

Nau mai haere mai, welcome to Manatū Hauora’s online engagement space.

This is an online space that you can visit anytime you like, as many times as you like, to have your say on issues the Ministry is seeking feedback about.

Your contribution will help us better understand different perspectives of complex problems and help us identify solutions or opportunities.

This platform is set up for health sector stakeholders to participate and contribute ideas to some of the Ministry's work programmes set out in the challenges. Join the kōrero, and together, we can make a better health system for all New Zealanders.

Health Workforce Strategy - why you should contribute

The health workforce has been experiencing immense pressure, which has only been exacerbated by COVID-19 and winter illness. Addressing health workforce issues and ensuring we have a sustainable, skilled and well-supported health workforce is a priority.

Your contribution will help further our collective understanding of current workforce issues, and identify, prioritise and collectively agree on ways to address the challenges facing the health workforce in the reformed health system.

People are at the heart of our health system. Your ideas will help us deliver a long-term approach that will better support our health workforce to meet the needs of our communities for decades to come.

Pae Ora Act

By creating new entities and redefining the focus on our health system, the Pae Ora Act has laid the foundation and set new expectations for us to develop and manage the health workforce differently. We want your help to continue building on this progress and redesign health workforce settings to support and enable the development of a sustainable health workforce.

We want to hear about your perspective on the issues, opportunities and ideas about what our future health workforce might look like and how they will support our vision for pae ora - healthy futures for all.

Some important dates to consider:
