Too much dishonesty and misuse of resources. Too many fat cats being paid to do nothing. Very disturbing.

Why the contribution is important

Reduce waste. Call people to account. Bring back fully functional HR depts

Maybe get rid of the old CEOs of each DHB and their lackeys, still nothing being done at a local level quick enough for actual care of patients, lots of talking but no action sadly, people die with what's happening, then with the money saved from firing all the old dinosaurs you could get more frontline staff in place where it is sorely needed

Yes and there’s a next generation of corrupt lazy unethical people coming through. I think it’s a reflection of our society in general.

I think the health service needs to refocus on what it is there for, and stop adopting "innovations" that actually don't improve things for people using the services. We are a small country and it ought to be possible to have an efficient and effective service.
I don't think any health service is perfect, but there has got to be a better way of doing things than currently exists. It seems to me that we just blindly follow what is being tried in other places instead of really looking at what will work for NZ.
