Add hospital appointments to Manage My Health
I would like to see these appointments added to Manage My Health with the option for patients to reschedule their appointments online.
Why the contribution is important
When you have regular outpatient appointments and a full time job, it's a hassle to have to call to reschedule, leave the call without a new appointment time and wait for a letter only to find that the new appointment time either clashes or isn't for a really long time.

Honestly, there needs to be one well resourced, fully disability accessible, integrated health record platform where appointments, documents, medical history etc etc can all be kept in one place, and then access can be given or withheld on patient request, to every specialist the patient visits. As it is, my doctor lost my letter from my psychiatrist authorising my ADHD meds, and every new hospital department or specialist has no clue what meds I am on, even in the same hospital.
All appointments in the same place, easy to view. Then there will also be no more mix ups where the appointment to review the test results is scheduled in three months, but the actual test appointment is in four months. And where possible, different departments could schedule appointments back to back, especially for rural patients who have to travel in a long distance

I had a respiratory appointment at my local hospital, all good. Saw the specialist. They asked at the appointment if I'd had a chest x-ray. No? Left the appointment.
Weeks later get a letter in the mail (it had gotten lost) saying I needed a chest x-ray before my appointment. Ooops. Called specialist and nope didn't need an x-ray.
