Value nursing

Offer nurses a choice of free childcare, free parking or free meal at work. Or choice of two. Or all three. Depending on how high the need is in any particular place. 

Offer student loan pay off in return for bonded period. 

Why the contribution is important

Most nursing jobs are hard. Our nurses have had to work day in day out in N95 masks for months now simply because our 8 story surgical block has no ventilation. We need to show them we give a toss.

    Further to this - recognise and value the contribution of nurses in all areas of healthcare delivery
    The disparity of funding that disadvantages nurses working in Māori and Iwi providers or in Aged residential care for example compared to nurses employed in te Whatu Ora (formerly DHB) services needs to be addressed - with equity of remuneration based on qualifications and experience,

    Because we are all part of a 'team', shouldn't the dialogue be less specific and be more inclusive of all professions who are part of the team?

    All on the healthcare team should be valued and offered free or subsidized meals, parking, childcare not just doctors.

    Sorry, but i agree wth Gayle and Steve. We are all part of the same team and the dicussion should be inclusive of all professions and not devisive.
