Streamline recruiting by utilising previous interviews
DHBs should utilise previous interviews when recruiting for the same job.
If an employee is on a temporary contract (e.g Mat leave cover), they should not have to interview again for the role they are currently doing (e.g. interviewing for another Mat leave cover, or a permanent position) if they were interviewed within the last year.
Why the contribution is important
It's a waste of time for the management team conducting the interview, and an insult to the staff members who are currently doing the job that they are applying for.
